Protecting migratory birds in Mazatlan: a workshop for birdwatchers
Neotropical migratory birds remind us that nature conservation has no borders. Be part of a bi-national conservation effort, explore unique sites to observe these birds and learn what you can do to conserve them while you are here in Mazatlan.
Participant profile
- Interest for birdwatching
- Adequate physical condition to carry out field practices
- Responsible attitude to comply with the activities of the seminar and those carried out at home
- Commitment to participate in actions in favor of the conservation of migratory birds in the locality
Requirements
- Speak english or spanish
- Minimum age of 20 years
- Have binoculars and a cell phone with a camera
- Availability of attending weekly face-to-face and virtual sessions that will take place in the period from december 2020 to april 2021 (schedule according to the availability of the group)
- Have access to a computer with internet
